All event registrations are handled online through our CivicRec site. Each event listed below will have the specific link for that event. You will need to create a login account to register, but once you have an account established, you will use this for all events.

Art in the Park: Troutman

Join us for Art in the Park: Troutman on Saturday, September 21st from 10am-2pm. Event will take place at the Troutman ESC Park, 338 North Ave, Troutman. We will have local artisans, craftsmen, local musicians and more! If you are interested in being a vendor at the event, please read the Exhibitor Rules before filling out the Exhibitor application. Exhibitors will be limited to 3-4 of like item booths, so don't wait to apply! $40 Exhibitor Fee. Come out every Tuesday starting October 8th, 5:15pm-7pm & play some Cornhole! And GUESS WHAT? It’s FREE! All you have to do is show up.

Halloween Costume Swap

Troutman Parks and Recreation and the Rotary Club of Troutman are joining together to host a Community Halloween Costume Swap! Old Halloween costumes just lying around? Have bags of Halloween costumes just begging to be used again? Donate new or gently used Halloween costume items (hats, masks, clothes, props, etc.) and all things Halloween, to Troutman Town Parks & Rec Office (334 North Ave, Troutman) between now and October 9th. Sizes infant to adult accepted! The community is invited to come by and pick out a new costume to take home for Halloween on October 11th from 3-7pm at the Troutman Parks & Rec office. No donation required and all costumes are free. Recycle, Reuse, Rescare! (For best organization, please group and attach all pieces of each costume together at donation.) Contact [email protected] with questions.

Wear your costume, bring friends and family, and enjoy a fun, flat course at dusk through downtown Troutman.

Christmas Tree Lighting

Annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting- Troutman ESC Park- 338 North Ave. Complete with cookies and hot chocolate provided by the Ruritan Club of Troutman, local school groups singing festive tunes, and Santa! Additional food trucks on site to purchase coffee, donuts, etc. Parking is available at Troutman ESC Park. Free event. December 5, 2024 at 6pm.

Christmas Parade

Saturday, December 7th @ 11am, along Eastway Dr in Troutman. The parade begins at the Iredell County Fairgrounds and ends at Troutman Baptist Church. If interested in participating as an entry, click the link and submit your information. Free to participate, we just ask that you consider donating a new, unwrapped toy to the Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program. You may bring the toy with you on parade day or drop it off at Town Hall between now and then. Contact [email protected] with questions.

Earth Day Community Event 2024

Red & Blue 5K

5/18/24, 6pm, Downtown Depot (137 S. Main St.) Join Troutman Police Department and Troutman Fire and Rescue in a family-friendly 5K along the Richardson Greenway- lit up in red and blue! All proceeds will go to the First Responders Children's Foundation and the Firefighters' Burned Children's Fund, Inc. The Police Department has also added Back the Blue NC to their list of charities, which directly will help those families of the fallen officers in the recent tragedy in Charlotte. Register by 5/1 to guaranteed a t-shirt. Sign up here!

Independence Day Parade

Troutman Independence Day Parade: June 29, 2024 @ 11am. Help us celebrate our country's independence by viewing or participating in this old-fashioned, small-town parade with over 150 units of all kinds. No fee to participate. Parade Route: Begins at the Iredell County Fairgrounds and travels south on Hwy 21/Main St, and ends at Cedar Lane and The American Legion Building. 2024 Grand Marshal: South Iredell High School's Marine Corps JROTCEmail [email protected] with questions. 

Preferred Method of Registration is online. Paper applications are available as needed.

Independence Day Festival & Fireworks

Free family event. Iredell County Fairgrounds. Fairgrounds gates will open at 6:30pm on 7/3 for spectators to gather blankets/chairs and find the perfect fireworks viewing spot on the midway. While you wait, we will have live music, food trucks, bounce houses, and fun for all! Hang around until full dark and enjoy the beautiful firework display! Fireworks will start approximately at 9:30pm or full dark. No dogs, no smoking, no alcohol.

National Night Out

Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6-8pm at Troutman ESC Park- 338 North Ave. Troutman, NC. There will be a water slide so bring your towel!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police and community partnership and camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. This is a free event for everyone to attend.
